Recently I got asked a few times what the heck is ATMOS…
In 2009 I started using the term for particular tracks or mixes I work on. It’s short for “atmospheric”, minimal music that’s got strong reverb/delay/filter issues! It’s a slowish techno (125-128 bpm) that’s thick, dark, minimal and a bit ethereal.
Loveform’s upcoming mix (both audio and video work) called “In the Club” is totally atmos… Check out the TEASER below. To be released early February on Vimeo and Soundcloud as usual.
